    High IQ Forum is a community that revolves around the concept of intelligence.

  • Is a high IQ required in order to create an account on High IQ Forum?
    No. Everyone who supports our cause or who simply happens to be interested in our project is welcome.

  • Are multiple accounts allowed on High IQ Forum?
    No. You and your accounts would all be permanently banned from High IQ Forum.

  • Is it mandatory to get a certified IQ on High IQ Forum?
    No. That is something completely up to the member.

  • What kind of standard deviation do you usually apply when referring to IQ scores?
    Unless otherwise specified we normally assume all standard deviations to be of 15 points.

  • Why claimed and certified IQ scores do not go above 150, sd15?
    Because IQ scores above 150, sd15, likely present a great degree of statistical distortion and other kinds of errors.

  • What would I be missing in case I decided not to get my IQ certified?
    You would not be able to have access to certain areas of the forum. Exception made for those members who happen to have a temporary pass, a permanent pass, or an honorary membership.

  • What would I be missing in case I failed in getting a certified high IQ?
    The same things you would be missing in case you decided not to get your IQ certified. Exception made for those members who happen to have a temporary pass, a permanent pass, or an honorary membership.

  • Is there a test that would automatically grant me a certified high IQ on High IQ Forum?
    No. There is no test, including our own tests for obvious reasons, that would automatically grant you a certified high IQ on High IQ Forum. The quality of your posts is an important factor.

  • What kind of IQ should I claim during the registration process?
    It is up to you. We just would like you to be honest about it. Claiming a very high IQ should get you more attention. Attention can lead to critics.

  • Why can't I change the IQ I claimed during the registration process?
    Different claims get different reactions. However, in certain cases the Staff might decide to help you and change your claimed IQ.

  • Can I change my username?
    If you want to get your username changed you can ask one of our staff members. However, you should keep in mind that we are more prone to change the usernames of those accounts that posted a relatively low amount of messages.

  • Can I use my real name as username?
    You can. You don't have to though. Keep in mind that no spaces are allowed within a username.

  • How can I start a Conversation with a member?
    Click on a member's avatar or username, and then "Start a Conversation". You need to have posted at least 30 messages and received at least 10 likes. Everything also depends on the privacy settings of the user you are trying to contact.

  • How can I post a message on my profile or on a member's profile?
    Click on a member's avatar or username, then "Profile Page", then write something in the apposite box and click on "Post". You need to have posted at least 30 messages and received at least 10 likes. In case you wish to post something on someone else's profile everything also depends on the privacy settings of that user.
